Paul Potts heads our line up at the Princess Royal Theatre

Our guide to the things that you need to see this week: a renowned local singing superstar, tales of the wild west, Welsh song and rhyme, a business event, health and well being, history and the usual band scene.

The Princess Royal  Theatre

After Burton, Hopkins, Sheen and Brydon, comes Paul Potts. The first ever Britain’s Got Talent winner and opera supremo, Paul Potts, will be gracing the stage at Princess Royal Theatre on Sunday from 7.30 pm.

Since finding stardom after wowing judges Amanda Holden, Simon Cowell and Piers Morgan, the star has had a film made about him and his journey from  Carphone Warehouse advisor to multi-million opera star. His rendition of Nessun Dorma has been viewed a whopping 134,000,000 times and his debut album soared to number one in the UK and eight other countries. If you are one of the 700,000 purchasers of his One Chance album or have been recently converted, come along and witness the entrancing sound of Port Talbot’s own.
