Before announcing the main award, several others were made, which included the 2nd XV Player of the Year, which was won by Matthew Hare, a versatile player who could be relied upon to play in any position in the back line.

Matthew was also awarded the Clubman of the Year, for his efforts throughout the season.

Another prestigious award was a Club Cap, gained by playing 250 games for the 1st XV, and was presented to second row Steve Oliver, only the sixth player to ever receive the award since its introduction in 1992. Steve had gained his cap in a run of seasons starting in the 2000-2001 season.

The final award was Player of the Year, with Captain and flanker Rob Morgans named as the winner.

Rob had played several games for the club in previous seasons and was also selected as Captain. His superb form during the season was a big influence to other team members, and also in the club’s promotion to Division 2 next season.
