Sprinkling of Festive Magic

8 November 2011

Festive magic comes to Port Talbot once again this year, as local children write to Santa.

The naughty and nice children of Port Talbot can write to Santa with their Christmas wishes as part of Santa’s special Courier Service.

A sprinkling of seasonal magic ensures letters reach the North Pole in plenty of time for Santa’s helpers to get to work on making your little one’s wishes come true.

Make sure the letters provide your child’s name, address and age and are sent by December 2nd, and Santa will reply to their letters.

Your little ones can send their letters using his special post boxes, which can be found in all Neath Port Talbot libraries, The Castle Hotel in Neath, and Pontardawe Arts Centre.

Alternatively letters can be sent to Santa via his helpers at:

Special Events, Library HQ, Reginald Street, Velindre, Port Talbot, SA13 1YY.

This year’s festive celebrations kick off with the switch-on of the Christmas Lights on Friday November 11 in the Civic Square, with entertainment from 5:30pm.

Father Christmas’ parade on Saturday November 12th begins at the Railway Station at 1:30pm, finishing at the Civic Centre.

Santa’s Grotto at Aberafan Shopping Centre will then be open for little visitors, admission is £3.00.
