A GROUP of volunteer radio presenters swept the board at a charity quiz night recently.

Members of Radio Phoenix, which broadcasts at Neath Port Talbot Hospital, were invited to take part in the social night organised by Neath Voluntary Services.

The team used their musical knowledge, along with more general knowledge to top the board, and were awarded a certificate and prizes, including Thorntons Chocolates.

The social event took place at Blanco’s, Port Talbot.  Chief executive and station controller, Ann Tawe-Jones said the team was “thrilled” to have taken part.

Radio Phoenix broadcasts at the Baglan hospital 24-hours a day, seven days a week.  Anyone interested in joining the charity should contact Neath Voluntary Services on 01639 631246.
