Another attraction has been opened to the public at Margam Park.

The Citrus House and Propagation House have been restored to their Victorian splendour with funding from Europe and the Welsh Government.

Featuring a new citrus collection which includes lemons, clementines and exotic varieties such as Buddha’s fingers, the Citrus House is set to become another important historical attraction in the UK’s most popular park.

Visitors to the Citrus House will be able to follow the story of how the building impacted upon Margam’s families, gardeners and their way of life.

Garden volunteers from Margam Country Park’s new volunteer scheme will work alongside staff in the Citrus House and Propagation House to make sure the citrus collection is maintained to high standards.
